Ben Nicholson is a writer, programmer, and filmmaker living and working in London.

His words have been published by Sight & Sound, Little White Lies, MUBI Notebook, Dazed, British Film Institute, Institute of Contemporary Art, Shelf Heroes, The Skinny, and he is Editor-at-Large of CineVue. Feel free to check out a selection of recent writing.

Over the past couple of years, Ben was a programme advisor for the Open City Documentary Festival (2017) and is Film Programme Previewer for Sheffield Doc/Fest (2018, 2019). In June of 2018 he collaborated with LOST_FUTURES to programme the UK premiere of Blake Williams’ PROTOTYPE.
